Go Wilder Saving weight means little without retaining an appropriate level of stiffness and responsiveness too. So we've taken all the acceleration and out-of-the-saddle sprint qualities of a carbon XC race rocket and fused them with a rear-end that still rails corners like a hardcore TR bike. This unique XC-TR attitude is also reflected in the geometry. The head tube angle (67.1 degree) and reach (425mm) is a little steeper and shorter than a Joplin to meet the demands of aggressive climbing, yet the Wilder's seat tube angle is a touch slacker and the chainstays a little longer than a Joplin too in order to retain that familiar Juliana confidence on descents. And talking of chainstays, each chainstay length is specific to the individual frame size; meaning riders of every height enjoy the same handling and performance no matter what. Beyond the details, there are some bigger features that amplify this XC wild child's abilities. Rapid rolling 29-inch wheels are paired with a 120mm fork to tame the feral lines and smooth the sketchiest of passing maneuvers. There's even room for two water bottles within the front triangle for bigger training and racing days. SRAM Eagle Transmission - stronger, better shifting, wirelessly The next generation SRAM Eagle Transmission spec'd on our CC-carbon models is a radically robust, fully integrated and interdependent wireless transmission. Built around the universal constant of the wheel axle itself, the hangerless attachment mounts directly to the frame for a stronger connection and the derailleur provides unprecedented reliability in case of impact. Shifting under load is made possible due to a combination of X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping, creating seamless shifts even during your hardest power output. The new AXS Pods are ergonomic and customizable, so shifting gears is light and intuitive. It's simply the most advanced transmission and nearly as tough as you are.

With its 120mm of VPP travel and 29-inch wheels, it's the ultimate climbing partner to help you reach any summit. And when it's time to point downhill, its head tube angle and slack geo will navigate the most rocky terrain. Fit for smaller riders: Proportional Geometry and frame stiffness tune Chainstay length and seat tube angle are matched to the frame size (STA steepens and rear center grows as frame size increases) so that every rider, no matter what height, gets the same balance of geometry and handling characteristics. We tailor stiffness for every size to make sure every rider gets the same ride quality. We take out carbon material as the sizes get smaller where less stiffness is needed. Smaller riders require less reinforcement on frames, and that's remedied with our size-specific frame stiffness tunes.
